Analysis Of Compliance With The Use Ppe With Prevention Of Work Accidents On Roof Frame Workers In Campus Buildings Stikes Payung Negeri Pekanbaru Tahun 2021

Compliance with the use of PPE is the attitude and action in using PPEwork in the workplace.. The findings after the researchers conducted a survey that workers did not use a body hernia when installing the roof frame. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of compliance with the use of PPE with the prevention of work accidents among workers. Roof frame of Campus 1 STIKes Payung Negeri Pekanbaru in 2021. This type of research is qualitative, using a descriptive qualitative study design. The method used is in-depth interviews and interview observations. The subjects of this research are workers and foreman workers. Then the measuring instrument of this research is data saturation and data triagulation. Research results Based on the results of interviews regarding the willingness to use PPE, it was found that the informants were willing to wear PPE because of self-awareness about the hazards of work for safety and health. The PPE used is adjusted to the type of work and the level of danger. Some informants sometimes feel that PPE is difficult for their work, according to them to avoid accidents it is better not to use PPE. The informant feels comfortable with the PPE, the informant is willing to wear it, but if the PPE makes the risk of an accident greater the informant will not wear it. Suggestions for research are that every worker is given training, training is not only given at the beginning of work but every year on a regular basis and in order to increase workers' knowledge about the importance of using PPE.
