Efektivitas Edukasi Audio Visual Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Nifas Tentang Ikterus Neonatorum Di Rumah Sakit Prima Pekanbaru Propinsi Riau Tahun 2024

Ikterus neonatorum merupakan salah satu komplikasi kehamilan dan persalinan yang dapat menyebabkan kematian perinatal di minggu pertama kelahiran. Ikterus terdeteksi secara klinis dengan pemeriksaan visual dilakukan oleh semua orang tua yang memiliki bayi baru lahir. Bayi yang lahir dari proses persalinan di rumah sakit mendapatkan satu atau dua hari perawatan. Hal ini menyebabkan pentingnya pemberian edukasi tentang ikterik neonatorum pada ibu nifas. Audio visual adalah suatu alat yang digunakan dalam penyampaian edukasi atau informasi yang ditangkap oleh alat indra mata dan indra pendengaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas edukasi audio visual terhadap ibu nifas tentang ikterus neonatorum di Rumah Sakit Prima Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi-experiment, dengan pendekatan one group pre- test and post-test group design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 56 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eklusi. Teknik pengambilan sampel probability sampling dengan cara Acidental Sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan metode kuisioner. Hasil penelitian dari 56 responden diperoleh nilai mean sebelum dilakukan edukasi audio visual (pre-test)adalah 22,85 dengan nilai minimal 00.00 dan nilai maksimal 73.33, sedangkan nilai mean sesudah dilakukan edukasi audio visual (post-test)adalah 77,14 dengan nilai minimal 40.00 dan nilai maksimal 100.00. Terdapat 55 responden memiliki peningkatan nilai dari pretest ke posttest. Hasil uji analisis bivariat dengan Wilxoxon T-Test diperoleh p-value (0,000<0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang ikterus neonatorum sesudah menggunakan media audio visual di Rumah Sakit. Bagi rumah sakit diharapkan menjadi referensi petugas dalam hal pemberian edukasi audio visual tentang ikterik neonatorum, sehingga dapat dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan untuk ibu nifas lainnya.

Neonatal jaundice is a complication of pregnancy and childbirth that can cause perinatal death in the first week of birth. Jaundice is detected clinically by visual examination performed by all parents of newborns. Babies born from hospital births receive one or two days of care. This causes the importance of providing education about neonatal jaundice to postpartum mothers. Audio visual is a tool used to convey education or information captured by the senses of the eye and the sense of hearing. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual education for postpartum mothers regarding neonatal jaundice at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital. This research uses a Quasi-experiment method, with a one group pre-test and post-test group design approach. The research sample consisted of 56 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling technique is probability sampling using the Accidental Sampling method. The research instrument uses a questionnaire method. The results of the research from 56 respondents showed that the mean score before audio-visual education (pre-test) was 22.85 with a minimum score of 00.00 and a maximum score of 73.33, while the mean score after audio-visual education (post-test) was 77.14 with a score of minimum 40.00 and maximum value 100.00. There were 55 respondents whose scores increased from pretest to posttest. The results of the bivariate analysis test using the Wilxoxon T-Test obtained a p-value (0.000<0.05), so it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in postpartum mothers' knowledge about neonatal jaundice after using audio-visual media in the hospital. It is hoped that the hospital will become a reference for officers in providing audio-visual education about neonatal jaundice, so that it can be developed and used for other postpartum mothers.
