Efektivitas Media Promosi Kesehatan Berbasis Website Tobaccofree Terhadap Pengetahuan Tentang Bahaya Merokok Pada Remaja Di SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu Tahun 2024

Berdasarkan data BPS Tahun 2023 menunjukkan prevalensi merokok pada penduduk usia  15 tahun di Provinsi Riau sebesar 27,76%. Pada SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu Kecamatan Bandar Laksamana berdasarkan catatan BK didapatkan sebanyak 18 siswa yang merokok di lingkungan sekolah, dilanjutkan penuturan guru BK bahwa rata-rata siswa laki-laki di SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu merupakan perokok. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan siswa terkait rokok dan bahaya merokok pada remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas media promosi kesehatan berbasis website tobaccofree terhadap pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok pada remaja di SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan desain penelitian quasi experiment dengan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa laki-laki kelas XI-XII yang berjumlah 122 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 122 responden. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan media website tobaccofree dengan p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya media promosi kesehatan berbasis website tobaccofree efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok pada remaja di SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan agar waktu akses terhadap media diperpanjang dan disesuaikan dengan jadwal sekolah sehingga responden memiliki kesempatan yang lebih luas untuk berinteraksi dengan konten yang disediakan.

According to the 2023 data from BPS, the smoking prevalence among residents aged 15 years and older in Riau Province is 27.76%. At SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu, Bandar Laksamana District, records from the school counselor revealed that 18 students were found smoking within the school premises, and it was reported that the majority of male students at SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu are smokers. This situation is attributed to the students' lack of knowledge regarding smoking and its dangers, particularly among adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Tobaccofree Website-Based Health Promotion on Teenagers Knowledge of Smoking Dangers at SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu in 2024. This study is quantitative in nature and used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest method. The population of the study consisted of all male students in grades XI-XII, totaling 122 students. The sampling technique employed was total sampling with 122 respondents. The statistical test results showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score before and after the intervention with the "Tobaccofree" website, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to the rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha. This indicates that the "Tobaccofree" website-based health promotion media is effective in enhancing knowledge about the dangers of smoking among teenagers at SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Batu. For future, it is recommended that the access time to the media be extended and aligned with the school schedule, giving more opportunities to engage with the provided content.
