FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPATUHAN PEKERJA TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD)

Abstract
Kepatuhan terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) merupakan aspek krusial dalam penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) untuk mencegah kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini melakukan tinjauan pustaka (literature review) untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepatuhan pekerja terhadap APD. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada PubMed, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, MDPI, dan Google Scholar untuk publikasi 2020-2025. Dari proses seleksi menggunakan PRISMA 2020 diperoleh 20 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi Analisis menunjukkan tiga kelompok faktor utama: (1) individu- pengetahuan, sikap, persepsi risiko, motivasi, dan pengalaman kerja, (2) organisasi kebijakan perusahaan, pelatihan keselamatan, pengawasan, serta ketersediaan dan kenyamanan APD, dan (3) sosial dukungan rekan kerja, budaya keselamatan, dan sistem penghargaan. Ketiga faktor tersebut saling berinteraksi membentuk perilaku kepatuhan. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kepatuhan APD memerlukan pendekatan multidimensi, termasuk edukasi berkelanjutan, penyediaan fasilitas memadai, pengawasan, dan pembentukan budaya keselamatan yang kuat untuk menurunkan kecelakaan kerja dan meningkatkan keselamatan.
Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a crucial aspect of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) implementation to prevent work-related accidents and illnesses. This study conducted a literature review to identify factors influencing workers' compliance with PPE. The literature search was conducted on PubMed, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, MDPI, and Google Scholar for publications from 2020 to 2025. Through the selection process using PRISMA 2020, 20 articles that met the inclusion criteria were identified. The analysis revealed three main groups of factors (1) individual-knowledge, attitudes, risk perception, motivation, and work experience; (2) organizational-company policies, safety training, supervision, and the availability and comfort of PPE, and (3) social colleague support, safety culture, and reward systems. These three factors interact with one another to shape compliance behavior It was concluded that improving PPE compliance requires a multidimensional approach, including ongoing education, the provision of adequate facilities, supervision, and the establishment of a strong safety culture to reduce workplace accidents and improve safety.
