FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI UPAYA PENGURANGAN SAMPAH PLASTIK PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Sampah plastik merupakan salah satu permasalahan lingkungan yang semakin meningkat seiring pertumbuhan populasi dan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara penyumbang sampah plastik terbesar di dunia, dengan sebagian besar limbah berasal dari aktivitas rumah tangga dan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi upaya pengurangan sampah plastik pada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan literature review terhadap 30 artikel yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam faktor utama yang berpengaruh, yaitu pengetahuan dan edukasi, sikap dan perilaku ramah lingkungan, fasilitas dan dukungan sekolah, partisipasi masyarakat, kreativitas dan inovasi, serta dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan rumah. Keenam faktor tersebut saling berkaitan dalam membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan dan kebiasaan pengelolaan sampah yang bertanggung jawab. Pendekatan multidimensional melalui kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat menjadi kunci efektif dalam menumbuhkan budaya minim plastik di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar.

Plastic waste is one of the environmental problems that is increasing along with population growth and consumption patterns. Indonesia is one of the countries that contributes the most to plastic waste in the world, with most of the waste coming from household and school activities. This literature study aims to identify the factors that influence efforts to reduce plastic waste among elementary school students through a literature review approach to 30 relevant articles. The results of the study show that there are six main influencing factors, namely knowledge and education, environmentally friendly attitudes and behaviors, school facilities and support, community participation, creativity and innovation, as well as family and home environment support. These six factors are interrelated in shaping environmentally conscious behavior and responsible waste management habits. A multidimensional approach through collaboration between schools, families, and communities is key to effectively fostering a culture of minimal plastic use among elementary school students.
