Hubungan Tingkat Kecemasan dengan Kualitas Hidup pada Pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodilisa di Rsud Arifin Achmad

Gagal Ginjal Kronik (GGK) merupakan kondisi penurunan fungsi ginjal yang bersifat progresif dan permanen, sehingga sering kali membutuhkan terapi pengganti ginjal, salah satunya hemodialisis. Terapi ini tidak hanya menimbulkan beban fisik, tetapi juga tekanan psikologis berupa kecemasan yang dapat berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan kualitas hidup pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 71 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) untuk mengukur tingkat kecemasan, serta WHOQOL-BREF untuk menilai kualitas hidup pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mengalami kecemasan ringan (41,9%) dan mayoritas memiliki kualitas hidup baik (69,0%). Uji bivariat dengan chi-square menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan kualitas hidup pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisis. Semakin tinggi tingkat kecemasan, semakin rendah kualitas hidup pasien. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perhatian terhadap aspek psikologis dalam perawatan pasien GGK. Intervensi keperawatan berbasis psikologis seperti edukasi, konseling, serta dukungan sosial diharapkan dapat membantu menurunkan kecemasan pasien dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi tenaga kesehatan, institusi pendidikan, serta peneliti selanjutnya dalam mengembangkan strategi perawatan holistik pada pasien GGK.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function that often requires renal replacement therapy, such as hemodialysis. This therapy not only imposes physical burdens but also psychological stress in the form of anxiety, which may negatively af ect patients’ quality of life. The present study aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety levels and quality of life among CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province. This research employed a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 71 respondents were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) to assess anxiety levels and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire to measure patients’ quality of life. The results revealed that most respondents experienced mild anxiety (41.9%) and the majority reported having a good quality of life (69.0%). Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed a significant relationship between anxiety levels and quality of life (p = 0.000; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that the higher the level of anxiety experienced by patients, the lower their perceived quality of life. This emphasizes the importance of addressing psychological aspects in the management of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Nursing interventions focusing on psychological support, such as education, counseling, and social support, are highly recommended to reduce anxiety and improve quality of life. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for healthcare providers, nursing education institutions, and future researchers in developing holistic care strategies for CKD patients.
