Pengaruh Massage Vibration Pada Area Gallbladder (GB21) Terhadap Nyeri Kepala Pasien Hipertensi di Puskesmas Rejosari Kota Pekanbaru

Gejala klinis yang dialami oleh penderita hipertensi salah satunya nyeri kepala dan tengkuk terasa berat namun tidak berdenyut. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi dapat diatasi dengan cara farmakologis seperti pemberian obat antihipertensi dan nonfarmakologis dengan cara pemberian terapi komplementer. Massage vibration dapat menjadi alternatif non- farmakologis yang lebih aman dalam memanajemen nyeri kepala pada pasien hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan massage vibration pada area gallbladder (GB21) terhadap nyeri kepala pada pasien hipertensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Rejosari Pekanbaru pada bulan September 2024 hingga Januari 2025. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan rancangan pre- test and post-test without control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling sehingga jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang. Intervensi massage vibration dilakukan menggunakan alat vibrator massager dengan frekuensi 50 Hz pada area Gallbladder (GB21) selama 5 menit, sementara pengukuran skala nyeri kepala dilakukan menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) yang tertera dalam lembar observasi. Uji analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan tingkat signifikan 0,05. Rata-rata nilai pre-test nyeri kepala responden 5,68 dan rata-rata nilai post-test nyeri kepala 3,38. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh massage vibration pada area gallbladder (GB21) terhadap penurunan skala nyeri kepala pada pasien hipertensi (p-value = 0,000; α = 0,05). Peneliti merekomendasikan bahwa massage vibration pada area gallbladder (GB21) dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu metode nonfarmakologis dalam manajemen nyeri kepala pada pasien hipertensi.

Hypertension management can be overcome pharmacologically, such as administering antihypertensive drugs, and non-pharmacologically by administering complementary therapy. Massage vibration can be a safer non-pharmacological alternative in managing headaches in hypertensive patients. This study aims to determine the effect of applying massage vibration to the gallbladder area (GB21) on headaches in hypertensive patients. This study was conducted at the Rejosari Pekanbaru Health Center from September 2024 to January 2025. The research design used was a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test design without a control group. The sampling technique used non- probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach so that the number of respondents in this study was 40 people. Massage vibration intervention was carried out using a vibrator massager with a frequency of 50 Hz in the Gallbladder area (GB21) for 5 minutes, while the measurement of the headache scale was carried out using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) listed in the observation sheet. The analysis test used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of 0.05. The average pre-test value of the respondent's headache was 5.68 and the average post-test value of the headache was 3.38. The results showed the effect of massage vibration on the gallbladder area (GB21) on reducing the scale of headache in hypertensive patients (p-value = 0.000; α = 0.05). Researchers recommend that massage vibration on the gallbladder area (GB21) can be used as one of the non-pharmacological methods in headache management in hypertensive patients.
