Pengaruh Rebusan Daun Kersen (Muntingia Calabura) Terhadap Kadar Asam Urat Pada Pasien Gout Arthritis Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rejosari

ABSTRAK Gout Arthritis merupakan peradangan pada area sendi akibat tingginya kadar asam urat dalam darah, karena terganggunya metabolisme purin (hiperurisemia). Allopurinol salah satu obat pilihan bagi penderita gout arthritis. Allopurinol memiliki beberapa efek samping seperti mual, sakit perut, sakit kepala, dan nyeri sendi sehingga diperlukan terapi lain selain obat. Terapi herbal adalah salah satu jenis terapi komplementer dalam keperawatan, salah satunya dengan meminum air rebusan daun kersen (muntingia calabura) untuk menurunkan kadar asam urat pada pasien gout arthritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh meminum air rebusan daun kersen (muntingia calabura) terhadap kadar asam urat pada pasien gout arthritis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rejosari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan pre and post test without control. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rejosari pada bulan Juni 2022 dengan jumlah sampel 17 responden. Analisis digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh meminum air rebusan daun kersen (Muntingia Calabura) terhadap skor kadar asam urat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rejosari, dengan nilai mean pre test 7,682 dan nilai mean post test 6,905 (p value 0,001; α < 0,05). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penanganan efek samping gangguan pencernaan setelah meminum air rebusan daun kersen (muntingia calabura) terhadap penurunan kadar asam urat pada pasien Gout Artrhitis.

ABSTRACT Gout Arthritis is an inflammation of the joint area due to high levels of uric acid in the blood, due to disruption of purine metabolism (hyperuricemia). Allopurinol is one of the drugs of choice for people with gout arthritis. Allopurinol has several side effects such as nausea, abdominal pain, headaches, and joint pain so other therapies besides medication are needed. Herbal therapy is one type of complementary therapy in nursing, one of which is by drinking boiled water of kersen leaves (muntingia calabura) to reduce uric acid levels in gout arthritis patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drinking kersen leaf boiled water (muntingia calabura) on uric acid levels in gout arthritis patients in the work area of the Rejosari Health Center. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design using a pre and post test without control approach. The research instrument used is an observation sheet. This study was conducted in the work area of the Rejosari Health Center in June 2022 with a total sample of 17 respondents. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using wilcoxon test. The results of this study concluded that there was an effect of drinking kersen leaf boiled water (Muntingia Calabura) on the uric acid level score in the rejosari health center work area, with a mean pre test value of 7.682 and a mean post test value of 6.905 (p value 0.001; α < 0.05). This study recommends to subsequent researchers to conduct further research on the handling of side effects of indigestion after drinking kersen leaf boiled water (muntingia calabura) against a decrease in uric acid levels in Gout Arthrhitis patients.
