Low back paint is one of the most common health problems in society. Low back paint can occur due to several factors, such as age, years of service, smoking habits. Mechanics have work risks that can cause complaints of pain in the back of the body, because working mechanics must always stand and sit repeatedly. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence low back pain in workers in a motorcycle repair shop in the Marpoyan Damai sub-district, Pekanbaru City in 2021. This study is a type of quantitative research that uses a cross-sectional research design. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square method. The results showed that the factors that influence low back pain are age (P value = 0.004), years of service (P value = 0.011), smoking habits (P value = 0.030). From the results that have been found by researchers, it can be concluded that age, years of service, smoking habits have a relationship with low back paint. With this research, it is hoped that it can provide input and suggestions for motorcycle repair shops in the district of Marpoyan Peace, Pekanbaru City in 2021 regarding the problem of Low Back Pain in workshop workers.
