Efektivitas terapi menulis (Writing Therapy) terhadap perubahan tanda gejala pada pasien halusinasi di RS Jiwa Tampan Provinsi Riau.

Halusinasi disebabkan karena ketidakmampuan pasien dalam menghadapi stresor dan kurangnya kemampuan dalam mengontrol halusinasi. Terapi menulis merangsang otak dalam mengendalikan proses produksi noripinefrin dan beta endorfin agar seimbang yang akan memberikan energi lebih kepada tubuh untuk perbaikan mood dan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan koping diri pasien dipengaruhi oleh meningkatnya produksi serotonin dalam tubuh sebagai regulator perasaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui Efektivitas Terapi Menulis (Writing Therapy) Terhadap Perubahan Tanda Gejala Pada Pasien Halusinasi di RS Jiwa Tampan Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one grup pre and pos test. Penelitian dilakukan di RSJ Tampan Provinsi Riau pada tanggal 3 s/d 7 Januari 2025. Jumlah responden sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi tanda gejela halusinasi dengan SOP menulis selama 30 menit dan dilakukan selama 5 lima hari bertutur-turut. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji statistik analisa univariat didapatkan hasil rata-rata sebelum dilakukan terapi menulis yaitu 9.30 dan sesudah terapi menulis 3.30 yang berarti terdapat penurunan tanda gejala halusinasi. Pada uji paired test nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest didapatkan p value 0,000 atau < 0,05 yang berarti H0 gagal ditolak. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan adanya efektivitas terapi menulis terhadap perubahan tanda gejala pada pasien halusinasi. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa mengkombinasikan terapi menulis dengan terapi menggambar dengan penerapan kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi.

Hallucinations are caused by the patient's inability to deal with stressors and lack of ability to control hallucinations. Writing therapy stimulates the brain in controlling the production process of noripinephrine and beta endorphins to be balanced which will provide more energy to the body for mood improvement and there is an increase in the patient's self-coping ability influenced by increased serotonin production in the body as a regulator of feelings. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of writing therapy on changes in symptom signs in hallucination patients at Tampan Mental Hospital, Riau Province. This research is a quantitative study with a pre-experiment design with a one group pre and post test approach. The research was conducted at Tampan Mental Hospital, Riau Province in January 2025. The number of respondents was 20. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets for hallucination symptoms with SOP writing for 30 minutes and carried out for 5 consecutive days. The results of the study based on statistical tests of univariate analysis obtained the average results before writing therapy was 9.30 and after writing therapy 3.30 which means there is a significant difference between the results of writing therapy and hallucinations. In the paired test, the average value of pretest and posttest was obtained p value 0.000 or <0.05, which means H0 failed to be rejected. From these results it is found that there is an effectiveness of writing therapy on changes in signs of symptoms in hallucination patients. Recommendations for further research can combine writing therapy with drawing therapy with the application of control groups and intervention groups.
