PENERAPAN TINDAKAN KEPERAWATAN TEKNIK NAPAS DALAM 678 UNTUK MENGATASI POLA NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RUANGAN JASMIN RSUD ARIFIN ACHMAD KOTA PEKANBARU

Pola napas tidak efektif merupakan kondisi ketika inspirasi dan/atau ekspirasi tidak mampu memberikan ventilasi yang adekuat sehingga dapat menimbulkan keluhan sesak napas, frekuensi napas meningkat, dan ketidaknyamanan pada pasien. Salah satu tindakan keperawatan nonfarmakologis yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu mengatasi pola napas tidak efektif adalah teknik napas dalam 678. Tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan tindakan keperawatan teknik nafas dalam 678 untuk mengatasi pola napas tidak efektif di Ruangan Jasmin RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Studi kasus ini dilakukan pada satu pasien (Tn. S 63 tahun) dengan diagnosis medis kanker paru kiri. Pelaksanaan intervensi diawali dengan membina hubungan saling percaya kepada pasien, memperkenalkan diri, menjelaskan tujuan tindakan, serta memperoleh persetujuan pasien untuk mengikuti latihan pernapasan 678 selama 4 hari. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa pasien mengalami gangguan pada sistem respirasi yang ditandai dengan keluhan sesak napas terutama saat melakukan aktivitas, batuk berdahak yang disertai darah (hemoptisis), nyeri dada kiri, serta penurunan toleransi aktivitas. Kesimpulan: Penerapan Tindakan Keperawatan Teknik Napas Dalam 678 Untuk Mengatasi Pola Napas Tidak Efektif Di Ruangan Jasmin RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau direkomendasikan sebagai terapi yang mudah dilakukan dan berbasis bukti ilmiah.

Ineffective breathing pattern is a condition in which inspiration and/or expiration fail to provide adequate ventilation, potentially leading to complaints of shortness of breath, increased respiratory rate, and patient discomfort. One non-pharmacological nursing intervention that can be employed to help manage ineffective breathing patterns is the "678" deep breathing technique. The objective of this study was to examine the application of the "678" deep breathing technique nursing intervention to address ineffective breathing patterns in the Jasmin Ward of Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Riau Province. This case study was conducted on a single patient (Mr. S, 63 years old) with a medical diagnosis of left lung cancer. The intervention process began with establishing a trusting relationship with the patient, introducing oneself, explaining the purpose of the procedure, and obtaining the patient's consent to participate in the "678" breathing exercises over a period of four days. Assessment results indicated that the patient was experiencing respiratory system impairment, characterized by complaints of shortness of breath—particularly during physical activity—productive cough with blood (hemoptysis), left-sided chest pain, and reduced activity tolerance. Conclusion: The application of the "678" deep breathing technique nursing intervention to address ineffective breathing patterns in the Jasmin Ward of Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Riau Province, is recommended as an easy-to-perform, evidence-based therapy.
